Well I went to the track last night and it really sucked! The 12.5 second and below cars kept breaking down and ****. but i did manage to get 3 runs in! 2 of them being against my friends SRT 4 (K and n filter) and 1 vs a stock redline, and of course i have mods in sig EXCEPT the intense transaxle mounts because i couldnt install them in time.

I know maybe i should have posted in drag forums, but seeing that i posted some post related to this in general previously i figured i let everyone know how it went!


COnclusion!

For now off the line im faster then him! from a roll be pulls in second but the rest of the gears we are dead even.

Man he had sent up a SRT 4 meet though, so there was like 8 of them out there last night. So i just raped him lol . ALl the rest had like mopar stage 3, and 50 trim. and all sorts of sh*t!


I know me and my cousins little sibling rivalry might sound childish but its all in good fun.
Besides he is ALWAYS talking **** about the cobalt, doesnt give it nearly enough credit.

Now all he says is " the srt 4 is faster stock" and im like who cares about stock?

Those are pretty good times for your mods, good job! Tell your friend he sucks at driving though. Was this his first time ever at the track? Because his 2.4 60' SUCKS, even for a skittle.

besides in all fairness this is like me 20th pass with my SS at the track, it was his 2nd and 3rd pass with his srt4.

Interesting to see that all your traps are within .5 mph of each other, and his drops by over 5 between his first and last runs. Was he not letting his car cool down enough?

 

his clutch was messing up so he says. I just say he doesnt know how to drive it yet.

He was having the exact same problems with the ss.

yeah he got the win light, he also jumped the gun by -.003. i forgot to put the minus on there.

and who cares if he is stock? if i wanted the fastest stock car i could afford i would have got some kind of V8.

Besides if u say the kn filters cancel out each other. the only thing i have is a 3" pulley. im at 15lbs and he's at 15lbs. its a drivers race. Down here we go by the best times not "who gets the win light"

That race was my worst time for the night too.

He says "the srt-4 is faster stock" well, yes, he's faster, but not QUICKER. Challenge him to an autocross

 

K and N filters or any aftermarket intakes do squat for SRT-4s until they get way up in the power numbers.

I am hating on people ignoring FACTS! Our cars are nice and I am 100% humble about what it can and can not do. Why can't you be?? In case you missed it in that other thread our cars don't run underwater.

 

Damn, he needs to get the driver mod on his side, he is running a mid 14 in the SRT-4 in FL. I on't know which part of Florida you are in, but whoeer gets te winlight is whoever wins.

 

Actually he[srt-4] redlighted so he didn't get the win light.

 

At bithlo the announcer even goes by the 1/4mile time. its really not important enough to have a debate over.
