It had to have been in my sweet spot... I would say 40mph. I had a TVS though. Clogged cat too. DOH! Feel free to be inclined to not believe but I have witnesses and my brother was in the car.

umm im having a hard time believing people but a stock 5.0 with less then 290 hp.
I guess its possible just dont sound like it should be lol
added
cobalt 2900 at 290hp is 10 pounds per 1 hp
mustang 3600 at 360hp is 10 pounds per 1 hp
360ish what Iv seen most stock stangs make on the dyno.

No. they run low 13s and trap about 110 right off the showroom floor.
Id guess i'm at lest 250whp and i trap about 105.
If the stang had a really shity driver you might be able to take him from a dig , from a roll you would most likely get stomped.

I said if the stang had a bad driver, he might have a chance from a dig, Ive beaten lots a asshats in rwd cars that don't know what the hell they are doing and up leaving the line side ways in a cloud of smoke. hell i even beat a guy in a evo from a dig because he didn't know what he was doing. lots races are won or lost from launch.
When doing a ricer roll its pretty simple, Put car in lowest possible gear for given speed and mash the gas shift accordingly. It takes driver skill out of the equation and its all about who has the most powerful car. The stang traps 5-7mph higher than the average bolted ss/sc ,short of a missed shift the SS/sc has little chance from a roll. To put it into prospective i raced my buddy with an SI(8th gen) i trap 6mph higher than him ,but our 1/4 mile times are fairly close ..hell almost the same hes even beaten me grated i had a better ET. we did a 60-110 roll (at a race festival in Mexico) and i put bus lengths on him.

its still a drivers race but things shouldnt be going your way against a +2011 5.0
the cobalt (lnf) has a awesome power to weight ratio but the new 5.0 trumps it.
