Crappy first time at the track

So I went to the track for the first time last night. I went hopeing for a solid 13 sec run. Any ways on my first run i ran a 14.5 at 99.8mph, my second 14.2 at 100.4mph. At this point im like ok not bad for my first time. So when i go for my 3rd run, I got my launch perfect.....Go to switch into second then...snap...go's my shift linkege. So now my gears are all mushy and hard to get into gear. I just hope its covered under warrenty.

Make sure you clean the track rubber off your tires before you take it in. Especially inside the rim

There have been a few people that have had the plastic cable ends break on them. I don;t know if it was warranty or if they had to pay though. Hopefully warranty.

I wonder what my times woulda been had I gone to speedworld. I honestly do not care where we go but to prove better times can be had on a better track I would like to try out speed world. I will not be going out till I get my car serviced though for lil fixes I have been putting off and I need those new plugs to come in so the soonest I can go is friday.

I broke my entire tranny and I have a G85 also. The axle broke off the transmission on the driver's side, and there is very little hydraulic pressure in the tranny. Just rattling around, no movement.

Dammit....I wish i would have read this yesterday. Today wile i was driving around the linkege broke completely. I was at a light and when i went to put it in first it wouldn't grab, all the gears were gone. I had it towed just to the closest dealer. I won't find out any thing till tomarrow. If they don't cover it under warrenty you think you can help me out?

Welcome to my world. My cobalt is at Van Chevrolet around the corner from where I work. They are fixing it all. Seems to be warranty. They put me in a rental car and all seeing as how the axle broke too. It's gonna be a while.

Speed world is faster, although their facilites are not quite as nice. But hardly anyone there, so you can really run and tune. I ran about 0.2 secs faster at speed world consistently. But more importantly my top speed was almost 2mph faster at speed world too.

what your saying about your linkige sounds like the Roll pin breaking NOT THE WHOLE CABLE LINKIGE

the roll pin has been replaced 5time on my car!!!! they finaly just put a bolt in place of it.

it will prob be covered as long as you have a stock shifter in the car when you take it into the dealer.

i never had a prob and my car is moded so i think you'll be fine
