doesn't it just scream efficiency!!!!

thus why it only lasted two weeks.

bad gate placement, shitty welds all around, mis-shapen extender pieces (it was originally 2.75in short then it is in that pic)

its ALL in its design.

its actually quite simple, and massively effective to do such a set up, its been done on race cars, mitsus, ect for years.

Nice, On the other hand, the first one looks like something you threw together in about 5 mins.

Thank you. I hate people that strip out the car to eek out .1 sec in the 1/4, its not real world. I don't want to run my car at the track any different than i would run it on the street. Whats the point of a car that runs 12's at the track, but can't break out of the 13's in street trim? If you run a 12 sec car on the street, you are gonna get mopped.

I'd rather run my car against yours, than sit there and compare timeslips. Thats like saying my dicks bigger, but being afraid to pull it out and prove it. :no homo:

I've been to the track, its overrated. I'll go back, just to make it official, but I get much better runs on the street.

I want my car to run good all the time. It shouldn't be something that I have to coax out only at the track, but can't reproduce any other time. I want the car to run the same all the time and be ready for whatever.

The first time I went to the track I ran it just like I always drive it on the street. The only reason I took out the trunk was to see how much weight made a difference. Sure my driving and weather all play a roll in that as well but I lost some time, kinda obvious you would. I am not going to start removing seats, thats just a pain in the ass and I think its dumb. Takes a whole 5 minutes to take the trunk out, no biggy.

Your very first run of the night looks almost identical to my first run of the night about 2 months ago... on my second run of the night... my Diff exploded though... so I haven't been back. Maybe tonight though!!!

My AFR is at High 11's halfway through 2nd... and then it gets real rich... top of 2nd, then all of 3rd and 4th it runs about a 10.2 AFR. I needs to get re-tuned!

x10,000,000

I suck at the track. I rule on the streets.

I've raced friends cars on the street and at the track... not to mention that I am nervous as hell at the track for some reason, I get the shakes... and i think I am going to be REALLY nervous tonight if I go. Last time I was there my Open Diff exploded. I've got an LSD now, so I am not worried about that... just the clutch/axles now. AND when I race on the streets... my car doesn't sit in the staging lanes heat soaking for 20 minutes before I run it.

I can understand that nervous feeling
but practice gets rid of it.

as for heat soaking, $5 worth of wire and a switch can fix that
