Update 6/6/09!!!!!!!!!!!

Well dmoney8187 was the first N/A 2.2 Cobalt into the 14's. NWAE broke that record by 2 hundredths of a second a week or two later. Well dmoney8187 was on vacation when this happened. Well he came back was determined to get his spot back on top.

First pass of the day was a modest 15.07. Not bad, but not where he needs to be. His second pass he ran 14.90. He had done it with only two passes! But would that be as fastest as he could get it too? Hell no! Next he mustered out a mere 14.87. A pass or two later and he was down to 14.82. His 14.82 pass made him the fastest N/A Cobalt period, beating out our buddies N/A 2.4 record by 1 tenth of a second. Now your thinking, 14.82, there's no way he could possibly go any faster N/A. Well you'd be wrong. 14.788 with a 2.2 60'. He had managed to shave over 2 tenths of a second off! Was it a fluke. Nope. He backed it up with a 14.79.

I'd like to now give another congratulations to Derek for again making it the top spot!!!

OLD: According to the official 1/4 mile list, dmoney8187 has become the fastest N/A 2.2 L61 Cobalt.

Only suspension mods are lowering springs but I'm sure that still counts as suspension mods. I think he could go a lot quicker yet with a new clutch.

pretty quick for a 2.2, that's pretty much what I ran stock. Only about a tenth faster throught the 1/8th and 1/4 and 1mph faster.

Word. As long as it's a good deal. I'm not sure what they go for new. Make sure you get pictures of the lobes and bearing surfaces.

RedSSNA is going back to stock. His car is capable of 14.6's but I doubt he'll go to the track to do it.

which means with good track prep and a good launch i should hit 14.5 or lower and with drag radials and drag bags around a 14 flat lol
