finally hit my goal

just got home from the track. couldn't wait to post it. finally got my goal.
ran 12's on the stock conti's. here are the "unofficial" results.

12.91@110 with a 2.08 60 foot. i even backed it up with a 12.98@109
with a 2.04 60 foot. i'm not sure how to post pics into threads, so sorry about that.
i have pics and slips and i will send them to ralliartist to make it "official".
also hung out with cmiller most of the night, and i finished 3rd in my class.
had an awesome night! -skip.

edit.. for pic links.

awesome, congrats man.

I'll post up a how-to for posting pics.

Click Gallery at the top of the page here. Then click upload. Then you browse your desktop and click on the pictures you are uploading, give a description and name it and click on "Member's cobalt gallery". Then click on submit. Then just copy and past the links.

well, to be honest i guess i had a couple more mods than in my sig.
i am running the "pill" mod (it is still a BYT tune). footballs in the rear, and miller
chain mod up front. i also cleaned out my trunk and removed the spare tire,
jack, etc.. does that count as weight reduction?? lol.

thanks for the congrats guys. i am pretty stoked.

the pill mod counts. The footballs and chains are mods as well, those are suspension mods. The spare tire being removed is nothing. I don't consider it weight reduction until you pull the seats out.

Some people use straps and call it limiting straps. It just keeps the front end from rising when you launch.

what ralli said and pictured, except with chains. cmiller took some photos awhile
back here and posted them. i had to run mine on the inside of the strut because
they rubbed the tire.

you do not need to weld a bracket. you just need to drill a hole. you use the existing hole
already in the strut. it is cheap. maybe $10.00 total.

Nope, I'm in Germany and my car is in Nebraska. You'll just have to wait at least another year.
