Was NLS used on any of the shifts?

I'm still a bit baffled by the trap speed.

 

why are you baffled at the trap speed??

 

Ethanol, tuned exceptionally and running a K04+ and he's trapping less than a similarly modded stock turbo car

This is why I asked if NLS was omitted because it would somewhat play into the equation

 

hes running slicks, that's why the trap is lower

Trap is because I'm getting through the quarter a little faster so not as much time to build speed due to slicks. I nls 3-4 and you can hear it on the video I will try and get to tonight. I'm also in 4 th gear at the top so I'm not finishing in 3rd which cuts a little off to. Adjusted for altitude I ran a 12.74. If I wouldn't have lost time spinning in 1st it may have been better yet.

 

Now this makes more sense. I also forgot you're running the 4.45 trans.

I know the 4.45 is strong and a great trans for road course but I can't wait to get a 4.05 in. I'm not a big fan of the gearing and living with it in traffic. Wish the 3.82 was strong enough to take the abuse.

 

 

 

That may be a stretch. Wish I could pay what you do to roadrace as the cars setup better for that.

Nice. Mad respect on that, went to the strip today to watch Fl2k16 and 12s is pretty fast

 

Watching it, 11s is really fast and 10s is ridiculous

 

Most average drivers in a new mustang or camaro have issues laying down 12's due to getting off the line clean. A lot of those owners go by the numbers that a pro driver from road and track got on a test, so they think their car can do the same.

 

Man, 12.8 is a really good pass. To get a clean pass like you did is pretty awesome. Especially with having to shift more in the 4.45.

 

Also a lot of people forget to factor in different altitudes. Congrats on the nice times by the way.

 

I didn't have any issues with my 3.82 running all matters of boost and turbos. I really think its driver/luck when 3rd explodes lol
