First time down the track with the cobalt
So i decided to take the cobalt down the track on a whim. So the tank was full lol. Wasnt my first time racing but the first in the cobalt my last car was a n/a 1999 cavalier z24 with bolt ons it was auto and i got it down to 15.4 well here goes
2006 cobalt ss/sc 56k miles (rally yellow)
Mods
Gm stage 2 injectors
Gm stage 2 belt
Gm stage 2 tune
Gm stage 3 pulley--Max boost around 17 or so
Injen intake
Inglis torque dampener
poly mounts
Same tires as stock but allmost new
Now the time
R/T .079
I1 2.271-->60'
I2 6.061
I3 9.091 --> 1/8th 80.037mph
E.T. 13.879
Mph 104.548
So i'm pretty happy with the times. I have a cat back ordered (megan racing) should be in this wed. Hoping it will pick me up a tenth or so. Also gotta order a better than oe clutch. Well just thought i'd share.
