First time at the track.....

Well I'm a FWD ricer so let me go ahead and get the excuses out of the way...

*First time Evarr
*Cheap Street tires/ didn't mess with the pressure.
*Still on low boost.

Anyways I decided to go last minute and went to one of the "local" tracks..It's a 1/8 track..sucks but that's all that's close.

1st run was a 8.8 @ 93mph. I got a lot of runs in... Best run of the night was 8.3 and best trap was 94mph. Average runs were ~8.7 @ 93-94mph.

Nothing I'm really proud of but it was nice getting the experience. Now I just need to save for slicks and a wot box.....Heh and then Meth and 5 more lbs of boost..

94mph 1/8 is moving man. 8.4 is a pretty good e/t on streets.

This car sucks launching on street tires. I got the best time just getting off the line like I was taking off quick at a light. I normally have 0 wheel hop on the street but I also got it in 2nd pretty bad on a few runs. That was with the cut out open, I sounded like a dump truck going down the strip popping fireballs.

yeah very good times! my avg 8th was like 8.7- 9.0 at like 82-85. that is seriously moving! id like to see a full quarter cause you looking at 110+ traps! where as i could only muster a 107 best.

That's about right. This is what another guy that has a Stage 3 Srt-4 told me..

"I was getting 92-93 thru the 1/8 on slicks and 93-94 on streets. On slicks I'd trap around 118 thru the 1/4 and around 120 on the street tires. "

speaking from personal experience, i was on DR's on the turbo setup going 90mph i believe and was going 115 in 100* air. so yea, you will be hitting 120 because im fairly confident in better air mine would have been.

Yep, The guy I mentioned above just spent $2500 for new trans internals rated for like 6XXhp. He had a lot of passes on it but it eventually went out.

Looking at my Dyno graph I'm going to try shifting earlier to see if it makes a diff. I was shifting at 6.5K The dyno run ends right at 6K.

Note..low reading Mustang dyno, cut out closed through a 2.5 catback.
Btw ignore the squiggles...my son got a hold of it..

What do you guys think?
