so i took the automatic cobalt lt to the track today.....no mods other than exhaust...and first time ever launching at a track....

not bad....i have a base line....and definite room for improvement....all in all...an absolute blast!

I asume you cobalt is a 4-door. So yout time is very good!!

I went to the local track last saturday. My best time was 17.025, I was runing bracket so I lost because my dail-in was 17.10. I was running stock with my spare tire in the trunk.
I'm lauching the car in D because I tried once lauching in 1 but did a time of 17.555. My worst time ever.
My best time ever was 16.9, I did not recieve a timeslip because there was a problem with the computer. So my fastest time on time slip is 17.025 with a RT of .061.

BTW my best R.T. ever is .032

I hope next time (27 okt) I go to the track I will be able to put some 16!!

mine is a 14.9 so far, im capable of better.

 

Knock that 60' down a little and you'll see a good improvement on the ET. It can be hard; I have almost 50 passes down the track and I'm still not great at it.

But IMO, having fun is what its all about!
