like title says im going for 12's this coming saturday at rockingham dragway its gonna be hot though calling for a 100 but gates open at 5 and test and tune untill 2am so ima try it best time was 13.51@108 with the superchips tune mods now are

zzp hotside piping
aem cai
3inch side exit exhaust
msr wheels with fedral 595 tires
and ima try the footballs also iwant 12's so bad lol

i know it's possible with dr's or slicks but i wanna do it on street tires

 

What kind of 60 foot times have you cut? How much boost are you pushing?

 

20 psi with the sc tune best 60 i had was a 2.12 that when it trapped the 13.51@108

 

What's the boost on the hp tune?

I don't see it happening, man at least not this time of year. Its been hotter than seven hells here lately. I mainly say 12s are unlikely because your current best is on a 2.1 60'. If it had of been on a 2.3 or worse, I could see a lot of room for ET improvement via better 60. The trap speed is definitely there for a high 12 run, but imo you are going to need some better air and some sticky tires to pull off a 12. With that said, prove me wrong bro!! It would be sick of you nailed a 12.XX at the Rock, especially this time of year.

 

you'll most likely need a 2.0 60 to get it. do the footballs and chain mod and your in.

 

Imo, he'll need to pull better than a 2.0. He ran a 13.5 on a 2.1, so a 2.0 will probably only drop his ET about 2 tenths...... Unless OP is falling off somewhere else on the track and can improve there.

 

Wanted/Matt ran a 12.99 with similar mods and a 22psi HP Tune from me. Nothing TOO crazy either. So it's doable! I think he even cut a 2.2 60' which wasn't really great!

I was at the track last night and the corrected DA was 2300ft at Cecil County Dragway. I've trapped 110mph with a tune and k+n with a DA of 400ft...last night was 109.2mph with the addition of a downpipe lol. My AIT's were 120+ degrees.

It's doable with traction but i'm going to say it won't happen on street tires and in the summer heat.

Similar mods (trifecta,stock catback,no footballs) I went 12.98@111.It is possible,but not now it is too ****** hot and humid.Wait til fall and maybe.

 

just got back best time out of 3 runs was a 13.37@109 with a2.18 60

preety damn stoked reason last run was a h22 hatch with slicks intake exhaust and other work i had the better light slicks helped him get me through 2nd then i hit 3rdgear lol passsed him about 6 feet be4 the stripe lol

sorry it beeing all clutterd im happy as hell it was hot then it rained then it got humid so all and all im happy!

 

mmmm you know what might of helped... if you take off on right headlight and foglight... more air into the filter what pressure did u ran your tires?
