How can I get traction? I ran a lousy 13.7 @ 103mph with a 2.6 60' at the track last week. I have DR's which hooked fine on stage 2 only.

But.....When I ran with the Nitrous, holy crap, it spun the DR's !! Spun through 1st, spun 1/2 of 2nd and got traction on 3rd.

I saw this guy with a GTP that was pitched forward, which he had no problems hooking and was running low 12's.

What Should I do????????

Hold the spray off until 2nd or 3rd gear if you are spraying right away would be a start.

 

launch at a lower rpm, dont dump the clutch off the line, dont spray off the line, etc.

dont know too much bout how you are coming off the line...

 

i was thinking the same thing spray in second instead of first and see what results you get.

Actually, I didn't dump the clutch,came of the line softly. I know the car is capable of 12's, what isn't is the driver.
I need the stage 3 driver mod!!

I'll try to post up the vid. The car sounds insane!! I just need to install my firewire card in my pc to capture the video from my camcorder.
