GTi got PWNED!

I was driving to work this morning after classes, and its cloudy and its drizzling out a little. Well I pull up to a stop light and I sit there for maybe 20 seconds and I hear wwhhaaappp PSSHH (a turbo w/ blow off valve). I looked over and it was what I belive was like a yellow 97 VW GTi, and he had his window down because he wanted to talk, so i rolled down my window, and he's like "hey, I hear those cars are slow as ****." So I was like "yea, its soo slow its embarrassing." he laughed and is like, Lets see how slow it is when the light turns green. and I nodded. Well, when the light turned green, we were side by side through first, and half way through 2nd he was by my rear bumper, and by the time i quit half way through 3rd I had a full car and a half on him. All of a sudden, I see a cop come flyin out from the right side, and pulled over the yellow GTi. All I know is I took off light a bat outta hell and parked my car in undergound parking at work. I'm still a lil shakey because I got a street racing ticket 7 months ago...

just a lil story...

comments are welcoe

I do not recommend street racing...and if you do it, do it at your OWN RISK!

i honestly think (dont get offended SS owners) it is because they race the SS cobalts and think they are supercharged when they aren't.

Thats a pretty common comment at a red light, its usually said tongue in cheek.

Dunno if i would have done it on wet road though.

its actually probably because every thread that has an ******* as the kid that gets owned says, "typical vw owner, typical srt-4 owner, typical mustang owner, typical rsx owner..." wow that's the way to earn respect huh guys? and you know it's true, those threads make up like 1/2 of war stories. There is no need to say stuff like that, it just starts arguments.

and maybe because the ss/sc mag times and review were far behind the best for who knows what reasons (mostly high 14's and even a few low 15's) probably because of how hard it is to launch...? and some idiots take magazine tests as the word of god.
