Finally got to go to a 1/4mile track on tuesday. Went up to IRP and it was pretty shitty, everyone complaining about traction. Ran almost .3-.4 slower in my 1/8th mile times and 2mph slower. I did beat a 2.0 turbo awd celica only by a half a car, and ran a few times with a grand prix 3.8 w/rods, retainers, headers, downpipe, intake, tune and he pull'd 1-2 cars from the launch and then we stay'd there until the finish. Dissapointed, definatly not the 14's i wanted but it was definalty not track to do it on. Where's some good 1/4mi tracks around KY/IN/OH?

I love US41 in Morocco , IN . Its where Ive run all my quickest times . Its about 45 minutes directly north of Lafayette . Me , and 1 or 2 more SS's will prolly be there this Saturday if ya felt like the drive . Just kinda waiting on the weather , right now its supposed to really nice saturday and good air . I was cutting 2.teen 60's on radial tires , at night in 40* air last friday night there . I posted the web addy below if wanted to mapquest . They race 5-10 pm . There will be bracket racing , but the run time only's too , so u dont have to bracket race .

Yeah that's where a guy in a GTP told me to go. Said he ran a 14.3 there vs a 14.7 at IRP with the same mods. I might be interested in going sometime but won't be able to this week. I'll see how long they are open for.
