I noticed in the offical 1/8 / 1/4 mile list no one has ran with a l61/lap with a blower. Since i'm doing a zzp stage 2 kit in two weeks(very exciting!) i'm wondering what the expectations there are on the track. I ran a 15.6 at 91mph with only H/DP/Catback/CAI/2.4 mani/Tune with terrible tires. Now with some extra power to the wheels what does everyone think she will run? I'm hoping 14.3?

 

what i'm thinking is will the shorter gears will this hurt me or help me? Im thinking it will have some nice accel but shifting sooner and having to use 4th in the 1/4 could hurt me. what do you think?

 

Shorter gears will help you, I trap @ 100-102 around 7000rpm in 3rd. Shifting into 4th might be nessacary tho depending on your trap speeds.

I say you should be able to run easily into the 13's, providing you can drive and you get some good tires.

 

I'm at about 92-94 when I leave third if I remember correctly so I would need 4th. I'm a XFE so the taller final drive should help.
