if anybody cares. i/tbe/17psi 13.4 @ 107mph. i have slips and video that will get uploaded today. For reference a ion redline was there, gutted, 2.8/42lbs/some kinda of stage 3 tune he said. 14.2 @ 104 big traction problems for him. he had no lsd, heated up on tire during the burn out, spun the other during the launch.

i had a 2.06 but fucked up the 1-2 shift and just spun to the limiter lol

its getting hard and hard to drive this car on street tires. my launch doesnt bother me yet, like i said before, its my 1-2 shift that is pretty much useless cause of my short gearing. i feather the **** out of the launch and im pretty confident i can always nail the typical 2.0-2.1 but the 1-2 shift i just drop the clutch and the tires light up. im done for this season. once the fuel pump comes in and i get tuned, the next time to the track will be on 16in drag radials. Def going for 12.7s at 110ish

 

Nice times...good luck with 12's. When I shift into second, I ease into it a little. It's still a quck shift but I kinda roll into it if you know what I mean. Try that next time

 

i thought your car was in the 12's wih the mods it had? I hate street tires just run on some drag radials and get better times i went the other week and was running low 14's at 107 off the gas

 

Damn 573 mph in 8th, and you only finished at 106 mph

you get full boost in every gear though right

 

you know....thats a very good question lol. i havnt bothered to look at the guage since i installed the standback. i just typed in 17.0 in the boost control feature and left it alone. i would assume it gets damn close to that psi in the first two gears, but 1snt and 2nd are so short that it might not be enough time/load to actaully hit 17psi.

you guys caught me. i was actaully having serious traction problem. went 8.7 @ 573 then said **** it, flip the switch for the parachute and costed...i didnt wanna get kicked out for not having a cage.

 

did you loose traction going into 3rd or 4th

 

what i have is called a cp-e ems. it tunes everything from boost to fuel to timing to cam timing to maf readings fuel pressure map readings. anything u can think of...it does it lol. like i said i have the boost upped from 15 to 17 and nothing else....pretty expensive boost controller lol.

 

do you have a tbe yet or just gutted cats, bc, and a inatke

 

wheel hopped a lil into 3rd...nothing serious, chriped 4th, but i was on my snow tires so that doesnt say much, plus my 3-4 shift is only at 80mph lol
