lets see your 60ft, 1/8th e.t, 1/8thmph and 1/4 trap. Those #s will help "see" your pases

welcome aboard

Take a look at your 60' time and what was your trap speed?? SS supercharged??

edit damn I'm slow,

with a 2.1 60' you should be faster than 14.8

Heat soak? These cars like it cool. 2.1 60 ft isnt bad at all. Lots of variables at play, temp, track cond, how well you shifted from 1st to 2nd(aka how many times did it bang the limiter), did it hit the limiter in 3rd through traps, 14.30-14.60 seems to be the norm, but I have read about slower and quicker.

not bad if it was that hot. thats what i ran fist time out in the SS, it was also about that temp and humid.

the temp will play a huge part in your time. my worst time in 97 degrees with 80% humidity was 14.5 @99 on a cool night with the temp around 76-80 i average about 14.00 @100-103( my 60 foot sucks lol.)

you will meet all kinds of folks here, dont be discourged by some and dont get caught up into what everyone else is doing for mods. READ and RESEARCH with the search bar.

5000 shift points? low miles? it'll pick up with higher shift points.

reaction time only matters during bracket racing, the clock doesn't start on the 1/4 till you break the beam.

edit: damn slow again, any way shifting at 5000 is just a tad early you'll get better with each pass...

there are alot of varying opinions about cold air intakea on these cars. IMO, the air box mod is sufficient for a mildly modded engine, plus plastic desipates heat better than steel. exhaust upgrades, aok.

does bbk make a throttle body for these? Big $ if they do, throttle by wire. Do search for "air box mod how to". The only programmer as in hand held is by HP tuners. check there website or do a search on here.

dont buy it. I went to the bbk website and they dont even list a cobalt for parts, let alone a tb for it. someone is lying to you. Buy from the vendors on this site. they pretty much all know thier cobalt stuff. I would trust these guys over ebay or anywhere else.
