My improvements so far
Okay guys,
Today I raced, a cop on a bike, a cop car, dodge neon, and old car of some sort.
I only lost to the cop biker.
Anyway, my best time was with NLS
14.1 @105.39
60' 2.388
330 6.326
1/8 9.424
MPH 80.69
1000 12.009
My fastest Trap was without NLS
14.461 @ 107.41
60' 2.454
330 6.540
1/8 9.677
MPH 78.87
1000 12.301
My fastest quarter mile didn't have that high of a trap. My lowest time only had a trap of 104mph. So that's a 3mph improvement. I'm getting better.
I bogged it a lot off the line.

Maybe it's the elevation but the times and traps seem somewhat low. But your 60' times are still to high without drag radials you should be able to get 2.1s with a little work that alone would put you at mid 13s.
It's all practice also remember r/t doesn't matter so dont get nervous and spin out of the hole.

Are you saying because it's test and tune night I can get a crazy bad r/t and my 60' won't change?
Meaning if I focus on the launch and get a r/t of like say 3.0, I can still achieve a 60' of 2.1? So you're saying the timer doesn't start until I actually start moving?
If so, man that's crazy vital knowledge, I am always trying to go right after the third yellow light, thinking my r/t is gonna effect my 60' then which will effect the rest of the run.
if this is true, I'm just gonna focus on keeping my rpms still and launching instead of the whole process.
What do you mean r/t doesn't matter?

But anyways, yes R/T doesnt matter. Your time doesnt start till you cross the start line. In a test and tune, you can have a 2.5 sec R/T but still run a 12.8 @ 109. Although it will look like you lost, you could run a faster time then the other person.

Well ****, I'm always stressing out at the line, trying get set up before the other person stages. Then I am panicking and space out what I did wrong the last time, then I'm just blank minded and green happens and I'm like, hell yeah this is good until I look at the slip. Then I think back on what i've done and I'm like I spun, or bogged or this or that.
Well this great news, I'm going to the track this week to get this down pact! Thanks guys, this makes my day haha
Yeah, 6000ft above and with a track on the side of a mountain with terrible wind resistance is a pain!

Gotta hate elevation lol!

I did 14.1 @ 107 (rt was high.. So technically 13.466) this Friday as well... Did similar runs 3 more times.
First time dragging my car, didn't do a single 60 foot under 2.7 all night. My 1st to 2nd shifting is pitaful.
Wheel hop...bog..wheel hop ...oh 2nd gear? Finally

For everyone having a hard time understanding what R/T is:
Cranemaster:
It was 14.8s from when the light went green to when you passed the finish line (I am rounding here).
It took you .7 seconds to start to move from when the light went green.
Once you started to move it took your car 14.1 s to hit the finishing line, and you trapped at 107mph.
If you cut a perfect reaction time your 1/4 time was still 14.1, but your time from green light to the end of the track would have been 14.1 as well.
In an event its the person that crosses the finishing line first without redlighting (or breaking out of their dial-in time if bracket racing) that wins.
R/T is only important in an event because if you are racing a car that is .2s quicker then yours you can easily beat it if they have a bad reaction time.

Unless your making a lot of power its all about the 60' Drop it to a 2.1 and you will be in the area of 13.5. I think for every .1 off of the 60' you drop .2 at the 1/4 or something like that. Elevation is kinda screwing you up to
