Damn, I can only manage 14.14@106.83 untuned and 14.06@102 tuned, please tell me you've got some sort of traction mods? If not then I've got to figure out what am I missing from my tune. Unless an intake is that much different from the Airbox....

Sorry nice run, good time where did you run?

Wow, those times make me happy to live at Sea level down here in Florida. Elevation of the track = 21 feet. Lol I never realized how much of a difference it makes.

Just stock exhaust set up. I'm just comparing me to the OP, he's in IL I'm in IA, we've got basically the same mods only difference is type of intake and my tune. I figured the tune will make up any difference with the intake. Then he goes and rips a 13.814.

I wonder what year cobalt he has? I'm getting ready to change plugs, the oil and clean the filter. Then I'll retune and head out to the track on the 12th. If I'm not hittin' 13.9s with this set up then I'm not going to do any more mods.

get drag radials or slicks. that's about the only thing that will help your e.t. out.

Try running a 2.6" pulley like I am.. Don't even bother bitching about heatsoak to me :P

If I was smart, I would have pulled a ralliartist and did my Cooling mods first.. I'm an idiot.. But, I learnt.. Meth is on.. Next is HE :P

No you didn't. If a professional driver couldn't get any better than a 15.2 for edmunds.com, then there is no way you are getting .8 tenths better than them.

I forgot about this thread. Sorry about posting my slip a while after but you can see the slip is dated. Im number 55. I have no reason nor desire to lie about my times. I have a GM Stage 2 and injen cold air nothing else. I did deflate my tire pressure to about 20 psi to help with traction though. Believe it or not. I honestly dont care.
