Talking New best times

Went back to the track again tonight, got in five runs. Best slip below:

R/T: .253

60': 2.289

330: 6.037

1/8: 9.053
MPH: 81.30

1000: 11.678

1/4: 13.886
MPH: 102.19

Best 60' of the night was a 2.242 and best trap speed was 102.91. BTW, stock clutch is holding up fine (knock on wood) Once again, this is with GM Stage 2 and an Ingalls ETD only. Exhaust and suspension mods are coming this summer, or whenever I have the money

Definately good runs there Mike, now you got to get a helmet... I told you the old lady at the end was gonna ask ya for it...

I think I'll be ordering that Ingalls soon, sucks to not even get to a 100mph trap speed most of the time because of not being able to use first to get going...

Oh yeah, I won't be running the tank that low again either...

Yeah, I'm going to start shopping for a helmet soon. Hopefully I can find one that's not too expensive. I think I'm going to have about an extra gallon of gas next time, too. I was getting a little paranoid towards the end. Maybe we should get gas cans that hold about 2.5 gallons each and load 'em up before we go. Leave 'em in the pits and use them when we get really low. Problem solved!

Victory - I know, DR's are so tempting, but I'm afraid I'm going to break something without upgrading mounts, control arms, and such. One day...

Yeah and all they have there is 104 octane at $6.50 a gallon. I was getting set (i.e. pushing) to get enough to get to the Raceway station up on I10 when one of the Sherriff deputies yelled for me to come over. Said he had some gas in the back of his truck if I wanted to have it and that I could just take it. Sure glad he was there...

Strong runs man. Your trap indicates a low 13 second run. When I was trapping at 100 I was netting 13.6 on streets. Keep at it. I've always enjoyed watching Cobalts and SRT4's **** people off at the track. LOL.
