Went to the track again tonight. Hadn't been there in over 2 months and it was around 68-70 degrees out tonight. Last best time was 14.69 @ 98 mph w/ a 2.4 60'. New best is 14.51 @ 99 mph w/ a 2.3 60'.

All mods are the same as the old best time but the track was prepped much nicer tonight than any other night I've been to Fireturd. I feathered it off a 1500 rpm launch and didn't get a bit of wheel hop. Had I known I was gonna be able to actually hook up without wheel hopping I would have given it a bit more agressive launch and cut the time down even more. I also only got 2 runs in and I was there for over 3 hours...and people wonder why we street race.

In other news my buddy got kicked out of the track after breaking his 13.55 tech time with a 13.3 @ 113 mph w/ a 2.4 60' in his convert 03 Cobra. It was his first time out to the track so I'd say he did damn good. His only mod is a magnaflow catback.

Friggin awesome dude! Thanks a bunch. I was so bummed out that my buddy didn't bring his camera because the run against the 65 stang was nuts. How well did your vid turn out anyway? My buddy always has trouble getting his camera to focus correctly at the track because of the lights and poles in the way of the track.

Anyway, thanks in advance for sending the vid korax, I really appreciate it. Also, it was good to meet you, you seemed like a pretty cool guy and you should also try to make it to the Payson run. I know it's a hell of a drive, but it'll be worth it, trust me.

If I some how managed a 2.0-2.1 60' the best I'd see is a 14.1-14.3. Still not bad though.

Yes, sadly i'm going to have to upload it on streetfire. But at least it'll cause an amusing fight of some sort and we can sit back and laugh at it. Those people are such idiots.

I meant if you got slicks and cut a very healthy 1.8-1.9 60ft., 13 sec times would be there. I consider having slicks at the track being well prepared, i don't consider them a mod. but you are correct, a 2.0, 2.1 wouldn't yeild a 13sec time, but below a 2.0 would.

I went 13.9@98mph with a 2.06 60' in my Impala! A 1.8 would get you 13.7@99.

POS streetfire is still optimizing my vid...for the last 45 minutes.

No Speedworld for me tonight. Fireturd hit me up for $17 lastnight and I'm still pissed about it.

wow got boost! that's a very impressive 1/8 mile run! i'll try to look it up, but you should be very low 14's if not grazin 13's.

EDIT: ok, i keep getting 14.53, i guess my expectations are just too high!
