I'm doing the same thing, I just haven't succeeded yet.

Stu, you did take the back seats out right? Just wondering so I can get your mod list in the official top 10 correct.

yea, his car is dialed in. Mine wasn't. I was on much larger slicks that make the gearing in these cars too long and my tune was also conservative.

No biggie, just like it says in my sig, 2009 will be one helluva year for the LSJ.

I saw that video and I was impressed. Congrats on taking the time to make a stock blown Balt hit the mid 12's...

I must say, I am jealous but hopefully I can get my car up there...Bills getting paid off so i can afford new toys for the balt...

Hey, no matter what you do..there is always some haters..99.9% people on this site know who you are and what you're about, don't let the rest make you think no one believes you. Again, great job stu, I really wished that I could've talked with you more, but losing my girlfriend at the strip made for an interesting night, aside that Sean snapped his axle...Congrats man.

^^^Seriously...Around page 11 or so...Amazing how a good thread turns stupid. stu accomplished something not many other cobalt's have done and then someone want's to hate. Reminds me of what people were like when choko showed his numbers on his ss/tc.

but anywhoooooo.....

what's your afr and timing stu? I know that with race gas your timing will differ but are you willing to get into more details about your tune?? (I understand if you don't want to)

choko lied about using nitrous, and you could tell from his track slip and dyno sheets. It's not hard to figure out. Stu's numbers match up like they should for his mods.

Is your tune set so it runs normal on 93 but it knows if you put 100(or whatever) in it?Or is it a set tune?

That I didn't see. The only thing I saw was his dyno vid and/dyno sheet when he made his first post.

In any event though, hatrickstu has shown us lsj owners what this car is capable of. And I'm sure there's even more to be found w/o going to nitrous.

Stu, think we can get close to the 11's next season? lol

btw, I might make a trip down there next summer, would be cool to have the 2 fastest stock blower cobalts at the same track duking it out.

lol...there was a guy I met that was tuned by ItalianJoe. He has a silver 07 wingless SS/SC on spray. He's fast as all get out. Says he's running 22* of timing with no knock...pretty impressive. If I could get back in touch with that guy I'd have it made...lol

I'd like to get your advice on some future mods. Just to let you know what kind of goodies I'm putting on, b-woody traction bars and solid motor mounts, fluidyne cobra heat exchanger, vibrant header and 3" exhaust, b&m short shifter, clutchmasters stage 4 clutch, aluminum flywheel, stg. 2 axles, and footballs in the back lol. Anyway man congratulations again.

Good job, just wish you could of done it with stage II pulley. Again, congrats and honestly that is what people should run with those mods. You my friend know how to drive. I still see improvements on the 60" times.

Yea, I hear you. Sucks too cause it's hard to get input from guys like you who know what they are doing and know how to get speed and power out of these cars.
