Norwalk rocks! (Zenkat hits the track)
Norwalk rocks! (Zenkat hits the track)
Well, after having the Cobalt-Milan racing cancelled and the Waterford track day this weekend moved on me, i ended up with a bunch of SRT's this weekend at Norwalk.
Suffice to say, that track GRIPS. My only mod since last season is the new wheels and tires i have (wider and a little heavier than stock).
Here's the breakdown of my best of 3 runs where i didnt miss gears:
60' - 2.14
330 - 5.787
1/8th - 8.733
MPH - 84.99
1000 - 11.273
1/4 - 13.429
MPH - 106.72
Just a bolt-on Stage 1 SRT.
Had it dyno'd for the first time ever today: 272 hp / 310 ft-lb
Hopefully sometime this season we'll get the damn Cobalt to the track. Over a year old and hasnt seen the track once. With S2 and torque braces, i bet it'll do pretty well.

Yeah, i'm kind of a street-tire guy. I like to run at the track what i know it will probably mimic on the street. That and the fact that FIVE SRT's damaged/broke half-shafts on friday. Most, if not all of them that did were on slicks or very sticky drag radials (that's a pretty good reason to stick to street tires).
I did hear some of them cut 1.66-1.70 60 foot times though, when they werent destroying drivetrain components.

I know people like pictures, so i scanned this in.
Currently with the Manual boost controller, i get a big boost spike when you put your foot down, which definitely shows on the dyno.
