^^^Ummm... that's not how this works. You have to PM or post your scanned timeslip or other hard evidence of a run before it's posted on the main page.
IIRC, you ran a 1/8 mile track and then converted the time to a 1/4 mile time... that won't get you on this list.

2.4 SS, MODDED
1.)MARIN007,15.04@92.80 w/2.19 60',coupe, 5-speed, I/E/ST
2.)GTP,15.17@92.33mph w/2.35 60',sedan, 5-speed,I/T/ST
3.)PpAzZ1101,15.33@90.27 w/2.30 60',coupe, auto, I/E/T/CD/ST
4.)rlinden86 -14.90@94mph w/2.20 60'ft,5speed coupe,I,H,E,DP,T, LARGER INJECTORS
I don't think we need to list all of the supportive mods, just the main power mods. I'm open to suggestions to improve this, and we can make more category's as this grows. This should be a good start, lets get some slips e-mailed or pm'd to me so we can start this!

In the time since the SC's release, none of the automotive journals were able to even come close to what you're turning with your SC. And some of those guys have been testing cars for decades (and a lot faster cars at that).
I'd like to know what Chevy did with your car on the assembly line to make it the "one-off" that it is.
Yup, definitely a factory freak ...

Quick update if anyone's sent a time in. For some reason, there's no "edit post" button for me to be able to make updates. This is the second time this has happend. Anyway, I've PM'd the mods in hopes that they can fix this for me.
So if you sent a time in and you don't see it here, send it again, and I'll update as soon as the issue is fixed. Thanks guys.

Thanks ToFo...practice makes the difference; my first run in the car was a 15.48 & I have been drag racing for over 20 years (yes I am older than your average 'balter). After 20+ runs I learned how to launch & power shift 2nd,3rd,4th without hitting that too low rev limiter!!! Also did not hurt that I ran after a pro car did a wheel stand...track was STICK-E. I was going to make one more run that day but my brother wet the track down after blowing a throttle body coolant hose off his 87 Vette. I believe someone will go 13s with a stock SS/SC but it will have to be perfect conditions& driving! Thanks again....

I second that madeinUSA...I truly believe our cars are very well capable of high 13's stock, hell look at the trap times and 60ft times. Just need to learn how to launch her and not break any axles and yet still get good traction. lol...These cars have ALOT of potential, but I think some of it maybe limited to the age group and in-experience.
To stay on topic, I haven't taken mine to the track yet for fear of breaking an axle. I live near Englishtown and Atco raceways sooo, better safe then sorry considering this is my daily driver. I am hopeing for LOW 13's with my mods though

The only reasons that it is difficult to pull off a high 13 stock is because of wheel hop and traction issues. I mean damn, look at all of our 60ft times. 2.0, 2.2, 2.5's....These are pretty bad. I know it's tough for a FWD vehicle to get a decent 60ft, but just by lowering those we would be doin MUCH better quarter times for sure.

well heres my timeslip. got a horrible reaction time and still ran a 15.6 lol
mods are only Injen Intake and GMPP catback exhaust with ss/sc manifold on stock continental tires.

Nice time Delta2.2> BTW, reaction time has nothing to do with your time or speed: It is just the time between when the green light comes on& you "break the beam" to start your timed run.....the clock does not start until you move. Good quarter mile times are a product of good 60' times, which is not a strong point of the FWD design.

Rattlesnake Race Shop
iTrader: (1)
R/T --- .126
60' --- 2.236
330 --- 6.050
1/8 --- 9.112

1000 - 11.758
1/4 --- 13.975

There is still quite a bit of room for improvement... these tires only spin for a split second or so on the line... and I hit the rev limiter in 1st a little bit. So there is more room there.
It's funny how as my times get better... my trap speed seems to go down. Makes me laugh. BUT, at least I FINALLY broke into the 13's... and I beat a Corvette doing it (early 90's model)! No better way! AND I was the fastest SS at Norwalk last night.
And I think I witnessed the fastest SRT-4 go down the track. He ran like a 10.6@131

great times, nice reaction time. beating a vette...LOL who would have thought looking at a new 1990 vette that in a few years there would be a 2.0L that is capable of being faster? to funny. congrats on being the fastest Cobalt in Norwalk
the SRT-4 that did 10.6 is just crazy fast. I wonder what it takes to get those cars to do that and how much money. anyone have the inside scoop on that?

Because we are FWD anti wheel hop mods or "traction mods" do not provide traction. they prevent wheel hop. that works well with a RWD as there is weight transfer that helps them. weight transfer hurts a FWD so stopping wheel hop does not help. I have tried wheel hop modifications and ended up selling them. I get just as good or better without. you want to improve your car and prevent wheel hop? and improve traction? get wider grippier tires. oh and get control arm bushings as they stop control arm deflection which improves handling in general and is the real source of wheel hop.

Stopping wheel hop will help because then we can concentrate more on traction. If you're still getting wheel hop, then you're having traction issues. I mean, you're gettin some traction but still not putting the power to the pavement. I do agree that weight transfer from the front to rear is bad for us, but if you put stiffer springs and shocks and struts, then that transfer won't be as bad if at all. Yes, wider and better gripping tires will help tremendously as well. High 13's are very well within our grasp with "traction" mods and a good driver, how's that? lol

So I went to the track for the first time today. I dont know why my times were so bad, but I think it was cuz of the weather. It was very muggy and humid out. My best 60' time was 2.294 and my 1/4 mile was 15.060. Is that bad for your first time at the track?

my stock 1/4 mile time is 16.7
I'm headed to the strip friday and ill post up what this built engine did for my time. probably only take it down to a 15.5 or 15.7 is my guess.

Sorry FNFAST. I haven't checked my pm's in awhile. I'll update it now.
Also guys, use the new link in my sig. Since this thread is so old, I can't edit it anymore. The new link has the new list with the new additions.

its bad, worse then my stock times. must be the reduced engine compression
first run was a 17.4 second was a 17.2 third was a 17.1 and last run of the night was a 17 flat
i did notice a big decreas in my power from a launch though. I might have to look into getting a 1500 rpm stall converter.

just so you know i cant do a neutral dorp. Chevy put in a safety feature in the automatic trany. if you are over 1200 rpms in neutral and then drop it into gear the computer shuts off fuel flow enough to keep the engine running untill the rpms drop below 1,000
