Well there is a big difference from slicks and street tires. I don't think anyone is going to net any gains by switching tire brands (provided they are street tires..not competition based radials) or even tire sizes. Swapping from a 215 to 225 width would probably net you as much ET difference as the wind speed variable at the track that day...if any gain at all.
