A Pontiac with a Chev Motor......!!!
Not sure if this is in the right section, but its a Chev and its a race car so here goes....let me know what you think.....

526Ci Allen Johnson Chev Motor ( around 2500 horsepower)
Supercharged 14:71 Hi helix Kebelco Roots blower
Estimated quarter mile: 5.80 @ 230MPH
Alcohol Injected......
My best friend drives this therefore keeping me busy during the summer months helping out at the track and in the shop....

^^^^ Thank you! It goes like stink i know that! and theres not to many Canadians running IHRA Funny Car so its nice to see..... as well as a chev motor inside, all the other boys run hemi's......

That same motor tranny set up was in a different car last year and it won Rob Atchison his 3rd Str8 IHRA Funny Car Championship.... It holds the Funny Car et record 5.76 @ 240MPH....

What Chevy motor does it have???? It's almost gotta be an old school one in a Sunfire drag car, cause Chevy hasn't made an exclusive sport compact engine for a long, long time.

Its far from a sport compact motor...Its made by a builder named Allen johnson its a chev "STYLE" block with Chev "STYLE heads but he builds them and a buddy at a local machine shop does the internals....Its not a sunfire at all!! Its a big block wouldnt even fit in a SC car.... Its the only Chev "STYLE" motor in a heavily dominated HEMI field

It is not a SUNFIRE. It is a Firebird frame.
