and if you notice at the 1/8th my 14.8 mph was faster than my 14.9 mph, but by the time i got the 1/4 i was 2 mph slower but ran a faster et...can anyone tell me why that is, and is it something i'm doing?? or is more of the weather and the conditions at that time??

Seems obvious to me but you're right could be 100 factors. Your ET is faster mostly due to a quicker 60FT and 330. I believe why your MPH went down at the end is due to lower RPMS at the high end which would show that sometime AFTER 330 & around(likely just after 1/8 th track) you either shifter too soon in the powerband going from 2nd to 3rd...OR you just shifted a bit slower allowing the RPM's to drop which kills MPH. Possibly some wheel spin from 2nd to 3rd but I doubt it! Being that you were so far ahead at the beginning of the run, lower ET still but yes...@ a lower MPH.

Well considering you cut a better .60ft on the slower of the two runs it could be that your 1-2 and 2-3 shifts were substantially quicker on your second run..enough to make around a tenth of a difference. Of course there are TONS of other factors involved i.e wind speed and direction, temperature difference, just to name a few.
