I did as the how-to explained, ive known about that for years..question is:

1. Is it better to launch w/o Traction Control
or
2. With TC



Seems like if I launch w/ TC off, the RPM's climb faster, but the wheels spin and squeel quite a bit. cars got less then 5k miles, think it might be better once the tires are worn in more?

 

Probably without TC. I dont think the LTs or LSs make enough power really to lose too much time spinning. So probably w/o Traction Control.

 

ok, sounds right to me.

i end up squeeling for prob around 2 full seconds? but it seems to be cut in half w/ TC. but then my RPM's dont jump as quick, i think it launches in 2nd when TC in enabled, idk tho

I have been to the dragsstrip last week, and after trying both I had better times lauching WITH traction control. I dunno if the engine was hot or someting else but I had better ET's so I will just launch in D next time.

traction control puts a delay on the power going to the wheels. you arent going to do too much chirping and squealing, but we all know its fun to chirp the car into second with an auto... yay for shiftplus
