You've got to be kidding me. Oh, and I guess this wins the debate on which kit is producing faster times.
Congrats Rob! Great job first time out! 12's will be here soon!
To be a little impartial this proves nothing between the 2 kits cause the weather was completly different...and the trap speeds were less than 2 mph diff.
AND the 102 mph run was with a 2.9 pulley not the rev it up 2.8.

True, the conditions are different. BUT if someone asks the question "which kit has the best time recorded", guess what, still the INTENSE kit, untill someone with a revitup kit beats it. I'm not really in the mood to start another arguement with the revitup fans, but that's awefully childish to call BS. I mean seriously, tiny, did you think he pulled all of those numbers out of his butt? Yea, I got and idea Rob. Lets sit down and make up fake times to post about on the forum! (ROLLS EYES). I'm beginning to think that REVITUP is owned by a bunch of 16 yr olds.

As for the intense kit making more power than psi fi/rev it up you need to look at trap speed, not time. Time is a function of traction ie drag radials lowering 60' time, trap speed is a better indicator of horsepower. My best trap with the psi fi has been 102.7 about 2 mph off these. Looks like the Intense is making just a bit more power based on these speeds. I am not sure what 2 mph equals horepower wise, I am sure there is a formula out there that can be used to figure it out.
But anyway, congrats I am glad to see pogress being made on the way to 12's you should be there soon with a bit more practice.
Also, I posted my timeslips a while back and I am considered a new member you should be able to upload them just like I did unless something has changed since then.
yea.. you get those 60's down you will have it..
since these are are so "new" still not sure what the avg 60' can be.. but with 1.9s the times would be in the 13.1x and with 1.8 60'.. you got you a 12.9x

Congrats Rob!...good times, but wheel hop was not my issue. Guess that clutch transfers that power good enough now. It's hard to get a good 60 ft with these cars. Keep up the good work.

Not bad for a first day at the track with a new setup. The power is there, just need more seat time and test-n-tune. I can't believe all this Intense/Rev it up crap..... give it a rest. Both kits are GREAT and work. You can't judge by one persons time at the track. Trust me I ran some crappy times in my other car at the track too when we were test-n-tune and had others expecting more out of it. Got ripped on for not being able to drive. Next week after some adjustments...went back and made all those people eat those words. Great runs...... for the first time there.... Don't let anyone else tell you different.
If you want Rob, send me the slips or video and I'll post it up for you. I believe the times. It's not like your claiming running 12's for the first time with the car.
Sent you a little something in the mail. Hope you can tune that car with it to get some more power.

I need to get my air intake installed but something else must come first.
Well put, in fact, if revitup posts some new times and mph that best Rob's, I'd be glad to congratulate them, not call BS.

I can't believe there are no comments on the clutch
I am on the INTENSE race team but i'm a firm believer in giving credit where credit is do!
Pretty soon you'll see turbo cobalts from wbody store kicking a$$, my car will continue to improve, Rev-It up will get faster, i'm sure someone from every vendor will be represented. In the end, it should be good for everyone!

And about your quote for the torque, very well said. Higher torque will give you stronger acceleration for sure.
What AFR (or 02 millivotage) you saw on most runs ?
Awsome runs man. I think some wheelhop reduction mods are in order for you, and after I think your setup with smaller 60ft times, no missed shifts, and the right love could get you into the high 12's. Good luck man, and you can do it!
Now the real question is why did I never get past the 60ft mark when I went to track? Oh, wait a minute wheel hop equaled a snapped axle!!!! On the first run too!!! Grrrrr...

I personally loved the sound of the motor hitting the firewall on the 1-2 shift! Damm them mounts are soft!
I did forget to mention the issue with the diff! The left spun more than the right, i would say about a 2-1 ratio! Pretty disappointed with that.
Wideband started lean, about 13.2 in the first 100ft, then trailed off to 11.3- 11.5 at the end of the 1/4

As you probably noticed, the stock PCM tends to get the things richer and richer. You lower the settings on the MAF-T; it's leaner for a couple of runs, then it tends to get back a bit richer.
You don't wanna try some 38 or 40 lb/hr injectors ?
