St.Thomas Dragway (SPARTA)

I don't know who all goes there from here. It is re-opening. I was told it would be open for yesterday but it wasn't. Drove 2 hours for that; live close to Windsor. I have a workers number from there. It is apparently open this coming weekend. They were working on some new timers they put it, the grass, they are now going to have announcers like Grandbend and I think they might have it in a radio station too.

Anyway, just thought I would put it out there to see who all used the track. Needless to say I was really upset about them still being closed after calling them and asking them if they would be opening and them saying yes.

Also, he had mentioned it is no longer St.Thomas Dragway, it is now St.Thomas Motorpark.

Fees are still, $20 to race and $5 to watch on a Test and Tune night.

Hope this helps, I will be calling him this coming week again and keep you updated.

I think you need the driver mod.

I also made some pretty bad passes there yesterday. Stock ss/sc, 15.33 with 2.41 60ft. My first pass actually had the best 60ft time of 2.35 with tons of wheel spin but the worst et because of a horrible 2nd gear mis-shift. At least I killed a 5.0 fox body mustang.

LOL, I'm looking at a different car. A 2004 WRX STI.
