Just for ***** and giggles:
So gonna go drag racing at the local track tonight and a guy at work is going and challenged me to a grudge match. He has 93 Nissan Silvia Right hand drive with a 2.0L i4 RWD with only a cat back exhaust and performance air filter. My mods are in my sig my best et was before my mods. We looked at the weights of both cars and they are close in weight, him and I are within 10 lbs of each other ourselves. So it might boil down to driver ability and FWD vs RWD. So please, discuss your thought on an outcome.

I foresee the launch about the same unless he has the rare posi-trac rear end. 240's are notorious for wanting to go sideways out the hole. But if he is a good driver, has good tires, and knows how to launch his car you will be playing catch up the whole way.
Well he just got the car from japan 2 weeks ago its not even fully insured yet. So he probably hasnt figured it out yet. It should be a good race. i am getting video of it so i will post it up later.

I think you got some mis-information with the vehical weights,
a S13 Silvia is just under 2,700lbs
a Cobalt SS is just over 3,000lbs
So he has got a 300lbs advantage on you...
If your best 1/4 mile in your sig is what your car will run, then you will get walked very badly.
My buddies S13 with bolt-ons and a MBC runs low 12's on street tires.
They are fast cars.

All good stuff. My best time was when I was stock. I now have ZZp Stg 3 with a Trifecta Stg3 tune. This will be my first time running with teh higher rev limit. And if I could afford race gas I would use the HOM. Lots of trash talk going on here at work though LOL.

Little older thread but it was first one that popped up on a search and it is pretty much the norm.
Numbers Thread - Post your Setup / Dyno / 1/4m : SR20DET Forum (rear-drive)
Newt was that with a stock T25? If so that is a amazing time on street tires for that turbo ........ would have to probably be a record actually because low 12's I think under 12.3's and I have never heard of one doing that kinda time stock turbo with street tires.
Oh well, my bad.
Here is a good list from one of my forums I regularly visit of some common times in a s13 so you can get a feel for what they do.

Now that I think of it, I think he also has a aftermarket intake manifold that I forgot to mention.
