Track Prep

(Forgive me, I am a N00b)
Not sure if it's been posted but Germany has it's own race wars.

It starts in mid May.

I'm just trying to figure out the best way to prepare for the track.. (drag)

What kind of preparations do I need to make to my vehicle to get the most out of it..
For example...

Slicks
Tranny mounts?
Engine Mounts??

I just want to compile a list of things that I can look into getting before hitting the track for the first time. Or certain products which people have had success with?
I'll be getting meth and a tune here shortly so that should help..

What kind of times do you all think I should expect with my mods listed to include Meth.

Thanks in advanced.

They're usually not too bad. Like $400 or less for 2. However with you being in Germany I have no idea. You could have extra shipping/customs and whatnot.

I know that this car is horrible when it comes to wheel hop, what's the end all solution to getting rid of that?

I know tranny mounts, but what in particular would be considered the best?

Making less power

More power brings wheel hop on any drivetrain.

Launch RPM depends on tires used and track surface prep, 2.5k is usually my starting point but I run street tires, adjust from there if you don't get wheel spin bump it up till you do then back it off a bit.

That's the plan!
Working on acquiring some slicks over the next couple of weeks

I'm ordering meth tomorrow and I will have a retune for it all very shortly.

This is my first time going at it, so I don't know what to expect at all..
I've been driving since i was 16 (almost 23 now) but i've never tracked or raced before.

So as far as my driving ability goes..
I'd be happy to walk out of there with a 13.5 1/4.

Anything less than I'll be impressed with myself.
