At the Track Running Personal Best. 13.4@104

So currently sitting at the Atco racetrack and have gotten two runs in already. 1st & 2nd run beat my personal best with the new BYT Tune on it. Personal best before was 13.617.

Wondering if this thing will run 13.3 today. Will post the vids when i get back today. Looks like my sig is a little misleading since the new parts are not in yet. Still on 42's and a 2.9 with no STS or ZZP H/E.

1st Run:
R/T: .130
60's:2.078
330:5.737
1/8:8.730
mph:81.45
1000:11.338
1/4:13.533
mph:102.55

2nd Run:
R/T:.142
60's:2.077
330:5.789
1/8:8.749
mph:82.46
1000:11.321
1/4:13.485
mph:104.10

So i decided to only make a few passes in the car since i am heading to virginia later.

Here is the 13.4@104 run from inside the vehicle.

Usually dont have any wheel hop and actually had some one this run.

Ahh THanks, must say its the BYT tune that got me to this point. Looking forward to putting on the 2.8,60's,ZZP S3 H/E and then getting retuned.

Would be interesting to see what it does then.

No wotbox on the car and my granny shifting was not to bad. I just hold my rpm at 2k and ease out of it at the line. Car usually has no wheel hop at all so i was a little shocked to see it on this run. Made around 25 passes in this car and have seen wheel hop like that twice. And my motto is broken parts leads to better parts.

On a side note i am hoping once i get the 2.8,60's,zzp s3 h/e and a retune that i can push this car down to about a 13.0-13.3 range. I guess time will tell.

Haha no prob. I was thinknig of picking one of these up but do you really think it makes that huge of a difference with a SC model? The 2 step seems more for turbos and I understand the NLS is always a good thing but good enough to make up .3 down the track?

I love my wotbox. It makes a little difference on our cars, of course not as much as on a turbo car. But launching is more consistent and Wot shifts are so nice when you set the ignition cut time where you want it.

Absolutely! Ive been drag racing for upwards of 20 years and one of the keys to progress is consistency. Anything that is going to give you a repeat performance time after time is worthwhile. It's also a lot less stressful when you know you are not going to miss gears and you don't need to rip your shifter out if the floor. We have seen novice drivers look like pros and pros swear they won't drive without one

I am so jealous. I can't net those times with more mods. It makes me angry almost. It must be my tune and driving. Practice makes perfect. Congrats.
