speechless, I would be depressed after spending 2k on a blower just to go that slow.

why is there so much hate in here? he is still on his m62 tune. he has not even taken the full potential on the TVS yet and has gone faster than half of the forum

Yea I would be disappointed if I spent 2k and go that slow too. But I didn't spend 2k. And the fact that I took my car to the track on the tvs and all the others just dyno just for numbers.

I'm not talking ****, since I have not yet ran my car. My tvs set up isnt even dialed in yet, still doin some supporting mods before I dial it in.
I'm just sayin, It better be alot faster than my m62. So far its not feeling very quick, and I only put down 264whp with the m62.

It seems like the tvs isnt putting out good numbers without a **** ton of extras like methanol, race gas, 2.9 or smaller pulley, etc.

Yeah guys, back off. Marc still has a lot of room to improve on his tune; plenty of timing to add in as well as a change in the PE table, I'm sure.

And he was using some well used slicks. FL temps suck this time of year, even in the night time.

at the time of that run mods were 2.7 pulley, 60's, vibrant header and downpipe with cat delete, gmp performance catback, K&N typhoon, GM dual pass with option B and the upgraded GMP clutch.

i have since added a zzp stage 3 front mount, AIS meth injection, and stage two rotated mounts. I only got three passes after i did my lsd and clutch install and managed a 13.1. Car would have went 12's THAT day but i wheel hopped badly trying to leave harder on my last run. All i have to do now is tune for the meth and the car WILL go 12's easily.

I was never talking **** just saying ive actually gotten crap from people saying i could have trapped higher than i did at 107. But my IAT2's were also 167 accross the trap and my car was pulling 6 degrees of timing. Oh an i was also on STREET tires. I look forward to seeing better times from guys with the TVS as i am considering the tvs or a turbo swap after my goal of 12's on the factory blower are achieved

how about some times from your corn eating redline? ive seen your vids car looks good in the street wheres your track times? im curious as to what you will trap with your power. my car was only at 270ish whp on my 13.1 run

I know. Never been there.

I would probably be happy with mid 13s on street tires as long as I don't break anything.

Thanks, yea i know but there are so many factors. Im not fully tuned for the TVS. Im still on my m62 2.7 tune and meth. Only 22* timing, more room for timing b/c i dont knock at all. and i have a non lsd tranny. mostly a tune will help out a lot. I mean i would be pissed if i ran what i did if i were tuned right but im not.

You can easily get that down with practice. Launch a little harder, and from videos, looks like you can improve shifting a bit.

Suspension upgrade will help a ton, just from watching the video I can tell you definitely need to stiffen up.

Just for reference, I've driven a TVS car at the track on an experiment tune I was trying. Went 13.8@102. Doesn't mean the blower is fail.

Bryan was been deep in 120mph traps with his.

You still got slips that are faster than 85% of the blown cars on here.

Yea not understanding why everyone is hating on the times. 13.1 for the first time out with that set up is pretty good. I think the issue with all the low times is no one has push the tune to the limits and see what the tvs can do. Before with the M62 you could only push so far before the blower was useless, now with the tvs you can push it but its going to be the engine that is going to be useless at a certain point. And i just read that the OP's rev limit is at 7100rpm....tvs makes power higher then that...or at least mine did. Think my rev limit was 7200 and the hp on the graph was still climbing when i hit the limiter

It was hot.. (hell i don't really remember)
My cars been in a flood.. (true)

those are the worst ricer excuses ever! those are right up there with the honda excuses "my vtec didnt kick in"....lol, jk. How bad was the flood?
