Why would you take an SS/SC against any of those vehicles? I think we all knew what was going to happen. I love my Balt, but I know it's limitations. However... I really love racing against 350z automatics... I hate those ugly ass cars, and it's a pleasure for me to smoke an automatic!

 

i beat one that was a 6-speed. 14.5 to a 14.6...the tracks around here are REALLY slow

No, I only sat out one round. You race whoever you are in line with. My friend filmed me with his camera, maybe he got some of the Cobalt's winning. I'll have to find out.

He managed one 15.2 at 94 mph. I was running 14.9 at 96 mph.

Those cobalts seem to be SS with SC stuff on them

 

Switch to Windows Media Player. It is right above the flash player. For some reason the flash player won't play it.

 

Is this right? Are those Cobalts SS/SC or just SS? Those times suck, I thought the SS/SC were a low14 sec car.

 

Stock mid 14s-15s depending on driver. Stage 2 you will see lower. I have watched some in the high 13s. Having limited slip makes a big diff since launch is rough with wheel hop. The red Cobalt's best run i believe his shift knob fell apart while trying to shift but he went under 14s. He does not have limited slip. By mid summer we will have more videos since about 6 of us are going to test'n tune. 3 With LSD and a few without. Some are highly modded some will still be stock.

Those are all the vids I've put on Streetfire. My run agaist the WRX has a -5 rating, I'm guessing because some people are too dumb to read the title that says 'Switch to WMP, the flash player isn't working' so that makes them really dumb.

There are some Escort guys on www.teamzx2.com Some of the electrical systems are the same and the engines aren't too hard to figure out.

The times they were running are normal for this area. For some reason, we get normal trap speeds but slow ET's. Maybe it is the humidity.

I do hate when I see a vid and it doesn't have time visible and they don't tell it. So, if I make a vid, I'm sure to say the time in the camera.
