Haha, thanks. I stole it from someone on another forum but I don't remember who. Hey Memphis, how did you do your rear seat delete? Did you finish it in or is it just open to the trunk?

I got lazy, it's just open. I have a wool rug that is very very similar to the color of the carpet so I just layed that down lol. It's so ghetto. But race weight at englishtown was 2894lbs with me in it and half tank of gas. I know those scales are a little bit off but I think my friedns weighed his ss/sc at the same scale with half tank, came in at like 3080-3120 lbs. But I weigh 125lbs and he's probably 170-180 so yeah lol.

I just gotta ask....

What's with all the 1,000 ft. times? What happened to the last 320 ft? Last I knew, we used a 1/4 mile dragstrip here in the US of A. Is it because people's cars are so slow that they shortened the track to fool people into thinking their cars are faster?

I'm not speaking of anyone specific here. Just in general. It seems like I've been seeing a lot more 1,000 ft times lately.

education time-

several years ago the NHRA was considering shortening their races because the cars were going to fast. becuase of the potential change many tracks were built as 1000' tracks. So no, its not becuase cars are not fast enough...

There's no such thing as "too fast"
becuase of the potential change many tracks were built as 1000' tracks.
