well its friday night and well i got my friend and a css.net member 8cd03gro together for some racing tonight. and the cobalt comes out on top. we had 7 races and i lost 1 time to my friends black mustang auto by like a foot at like 80. so i think my LS is the ****. a pair of guns for every kill lol

and this was very organized ask 8cd03gro urself that it was a nice spot.

they were the retro ones. i cant remember there EXACT year but they are the retro new ones.

i have ran 2 2005+ mustangs with at least exhaust, in my 2.4 auto SS sedan with I/H/E/T and can pull away but it is close.

well put. lol. anyways, my aunts got an 06' whatever new mustang with a V6 and a manual trans. I drove that a while ago, but if i can remember the mustang is a lot faster. except like in every car, you need to drive it right in order to go fast. good kill though.

 

the new v6 stangs should rape a 2.2 no problem... the older ones shouldn't be hard to beat, but the new ones? don't think so

 

I put in a pm to 8cd03gro about this over on the Mustang forums, but anyway this seems very hard to believe. Especially since gro has a 5-sp, knows his stuff, and its modded. But whatever, anything is possible i guess.

No, i wasn't calling bs, just wanted to hear his side. Anything can happen, I have no idea what the conditions where, I'm just saying this is a result way against the norm IMO. The 4.0 is more on par with the non-sc SS then the LS.

 

ah ok. well my side, raced 4 times, on a basically desserted road thats like 2 1/2 cars wide and it was till about 88 mph then we let off every time. we did 3 honks and then go.

 

Ah, from a roll...makes a ton more sense now. This cars biggest advantage is its torque and launch, from a roll it and up top it sucks. A tuner helps, but from a roll it still sucks in comparision to a launch.
