Went to the 1/8 mile track
I take it things are alittle different in the Cobalt than in the newer Mustangs? What I'm getting at is that Stu ran an 8.5 in the 1/8 and 13.3 in the 1/4 mile. A few guys I know have ran an 8.4-8.5 in their 3v Mustang, but ran in the 12's in the 1/4 mile. So I guess that means the Mustang picks up alittle more time in the back half than the Cobalt?

just looked at the slip. (keep in mind this is in a 20mph headwind and traps were 2-3 mph slower AT THE 1/8)
8.63 @ 82.1 1/8
11.16 1000 foot
13.31@ 104.84
best 1000 et is 10.83, so you can do the math there
Thanks for the info man. I was trapping 81.7-81.9 last night and running 8.92-8.99 in my Mustang. Its kinda pissing me off because I cant get the freaking launch down. I forget to lower the pressure again and I didnt warm up the tires at all. I ran 9.6-9.8 in the Cobalt, still havent gotten the launch down in it either, and it sucks switching from the Cobalt to the Mustang because the clutches are so different.
