so this weekend i went drag racing at an old air station in germany. the track is decent. it is not level though, it is uphill so that might explain my times a little. here are some videos that i took. enjoy and let me know what you think.

yeah i do!

mods are:

2.8 pulley, airbox mod, shorty header, 3-2.5inch downpipe, magnaflow cat-back, 60 # injectors, dual pass endplate, zzp S3 heat exchanger, this is on a OTTP canned tune. i have suspension mods also but these are my engine mods

 

My interceptor says i run 14.1 at 97 mph. But thats spinning all of first...lol

Mods are in my sig...im a 2.2

 

Those times are pretty good. You shouldn't be disappointed at all. What is the elevation there?

Looks like your 60' times were 2.3 to 2.5. That seems decent for a FWD. What would be a good 60' time for an S/C or T/C?

Is that the only drag stip in Germany or are there quite a few? ill be getting to spangdahlem in August so im kind of interested in what they have out there.

 

well there are a couple....here is them listed worst to best IMHO:

German Race Wars you race on a unprepared concrete track. address is German Race Wars Eisenach / Kindel Airfield Road 99 819 Hörselberg. about 3 hours from Ramstein/almost 4 from Spangdelham

Bitburg Drag strip this track is much better, it is asphalt. bad part is that it is an uphill track. address is Flugplatz Bitburg, im Gewerbegebiet an der B51, Stadt Bitburg/Eifel (Rheinland-Pfalz). 1.5 hours from Ramstein/ 30 min from spangdelham.

then Hockenheim Ring has a drag track i would say this is the best track out of the 3. it is a permanent track. 1 hour from ramstein/ 2 from Spangdelham

 

yeah i just kept spinning. i even tried leaving the lights like i was driving normally. i would be easy on the gas and work my way to WOT in first and it still didnt help.

elevation at the track is 1050 feet.

What tires? You had horrible times when You lived in nebraska when I saw you at the 1/8 track. And I seen you spin at that track so tires are your factor maybe. Tune is another problem

So you will probably run high 14's @ low 90's at the track. Interceptor doesn't compensate for wheel spin.

OP work on that 60ft and you will run much better times.

 

Should be reverse effect? Cars im hanging with and taking down dont run high 14s

 

well lets put it this way....when i ran the 14.41@100.9 my interceptor said 13.3@110...

 

When I had my M62 my interceptor said 13.3@109 on street tires. My best was 13.6@104 with drag radials. The less you spin you can get somewhat close to your actual time by a few tenths. But the mph is out to lunch. It says 12.8@116 with my TVS. Theres no way I'm going to trap 116mph lol. But it was on my radials so I hardly spun. Hopefully my time is close.

 

SOB that sucks...still weird cause the cars i beat and hang with are high 13 - low 14 cars
