I think those are pretty decent for a stock redline. Its hard to launch these cars when they dont prep the track too. Was the track prepped at all for traction? If not, the 2.3's for 60' isnt all bad at all. I have my 1st gear boost reduced to 7psi, and I still grease the tires if Im not carefull.(on an unprepped track)
Your mph is right where mine was stock as well, however, you are losing the time at the top end due to heat soak, very good thread by ralliartist on that somewhere in here.
So, IMHO for these cars you had a decent outing I would say, do some cooling mods and try to finesse first gear a little more and you will be into the 14's with no problems.

how are you launching? i know you've been around for a while spectral, so i probably don't need to tell you how. how different are the RL's from the SS/SC's as far as launching goes?

There wasn't much track prep cuz there were only maybe 30 cars there while i was there. Launching is where i really think Im getting killed i knew my top end would suck because it was so hot out.

Been around for while but only raced the RL twice lol. Im launching at like 1500-2000 and slowly taking it off the clutch and giving it about 75% throttle threw first and then WOT from 2nd on.

launch at 2500 and in the middle of the gear go wot around 4750rpms or so and at the end of the gear if u r spinning at all let off the gas ever so slighty so ur 1 to 2 shift doesnmt slip the clutch. just my opinion on what i do

once you hit 3-4k rpms....floor it. in first. Or whenever the clutch is fully engaged and the car is rolling.

i would actually recommend slipping the clutch into 2nd, but only slightly. i know i chirp/spin a little going into 2nd if i don't slip it a little, spin=less forward movement. and yeah, try launching at about 2500. it keeps you from bogging first, and having to make up for it by going WOT which usually results in a little wheel hop.

I was going to actaully try launching at 2500 but then i found out my passenger tire is beat to **** so i stopped running.
