Whoo! I Love Hpt!
Whoo! I Love Hpt!
I dropped almost half a second and gained 4mph JUST from tuning alone on my bone-frkn-stock motor! I'll scan the slip up tomorrow since I need to go to bed but my previous was a 15.6 @ 86mph and I ran 15.2 @ 90mph in 10 degree hotter weather with a crappy 2.3 60ft! Definitely a high 14 sec. truck in cooler weather.
I raced a Silverado SS AWD w/ exhaust, intake, tune and some other small bolt ons and barely lost...I was so happy. I also murdered him up to around the 1/8th mile.
I'll post up the vid in a minute.

Lol, nah not breaking records...but I am pleasantly surprised with how well the motor responded to the tune while it's stock. I can't wait to see how she responds once the bolt-ons go on. *evil laugh*
.....hey btw , my buddy darren jus moved out to houston . If you ever see tired old looking red 91 stang GT , that looks stock with cervini's hood , down to the pony wheels even ....make an attempt to watch it . The car is insane ....145+ mph in the 1/4 with big honkin single turbo

I was actually thinking about that! There are quite a few people who have done it and man it's an awesome set up. Less drivetrain loss and a 6-speed truck too *drool*. Plus the area you cut out for the shifter is a perfect location as far as distance and what not. I think the hardest thing is deleting the column shifter and installing the clutch pedal and misc. crap that goes along with it.
BTW, has your buddy gone to the track at all? I swear I saw one that matches that description at the track but I didn't get to see him run.

Awsome Tofu...I was actually thinking about taking my truck to the track this week and seeing what she can do... You make me want to get my truck tuned now! (I''l post some times if I make it out there)...
Just to let you know, having a manual in that truck is one helluva shift compared to the cobalt...it is like a body shift rather than a wrist...keep it up!

Search Google for big blue truck, or big slow truck or something like that. The guy has a pretty good right up.
