wow!

so today me and texasphil went to englishtown. we got 17 passes in! but thats not the "wow" part of the story. last week i went to etown with texasphil and nhoj and my best time was a 14.8 (first time at the track). so today on my very first run, i made a pass at 14.4!! i was so freaking happy (just have airbox mod)...but yet, thats not the wow part. on texasphil's later runs, he cut a 13.9! his car is stock too...it was amazing. i have the timeslips for all u haters...

this was our first run...texasphil cut a 14.1 right off the bat and im at 14.4 (and look at those 60' times...on stock tires)
phil's car is # 9357, and im 224

this is texasphil's best run so far, and my crappy 15 sec run that spun in 2nd and popped outta gear!!
phil's car is # 9357, and im 224

Wow. His slower 60' time resulted in a faster 1/4 time.

Good job.

Anyone notice the 60', 330' 1/8th, and 1000' et on the alleged 13.9 run is .5 tenths SLOWER than the 14.1 run!

I call TOTAL BS on the 13.9 w/ no mph, BUT

CONGRATS on the 14.1@102

Um I'm not a hater but your 60' foots where a 2.5 thats not possible to run a 13.9 with a 60 ft like that and only be traping 77mph by the 1/8. I wanna say congrats but it looks like the timing machine messed up.

none of the times in the 13.9 slip make any sence, not 60ft, not 1/8, not 1000ft.. That car was losing time not gaining. Slip just looks impossible... last 320 feet in less than 1.6 sec??

As Fast said, nice 14.1 but the 13.9 is far from legit. The lights must not have been working and they just "guessed" at the ET. I would throw that time slip away and never speak of it again.

you know what instead of me saying that I'll just race him when I get my car back. I'll give the benifit of the doubt. he did pull a 14.4 stock which means he knows how to drive.

heres my 14.0 slip
R/T.158
60' 2.333
330 6.113
1/8 9.223
mph 79.36
1000 11.8
1/4 14.080
mph 96 <-----tranny gave up coasted to end off track
I' mean just compare his to mine since we run on the same track and i would be whooping ass but than he would have passed me even though he was almost .4 thenths behind me and i was still traping higher than him by the 8th mile.

I was worried for a second there. I thought that maybe the no 13's for stock SS/SC was no longer intact. Good thing there are doubters out there.

Yeah, definetly a timing screw up. It happend to me once too. The machine said my V6 camaro ran a 10.54 lol.

If a bird or large enough piece of debris in the wind blows by, it can set off the light.

Great times without the bogus slip nonetheless.
14.1 is awesome, and 14.4 is pretty damn good.
I still hate you because you get to race at sea-level...

Hey man a powerful snowmobile that's nice. My friend recently rent a 2005 900 Fusion and I rent a 800 edge touring, I hit 106 MPH easily on my friend's fusion and 100 MPH on the touring.

Besides the slip times not exactly making sense, drop in filter is pretty stock to me. Granted 60-70% of the hp from a CAI is its filter.
