Ok, I raced the cobalt again tonight. 200.00 race. it was against a ram diesel truck. This guy was talking so much **** about my car. How slow it was, his stock diesel could smoke it....blah blagh. so i said if your so sure its slow, put money on it. his eys lit up. he asked how much, and i told him if he's so confedent, tell me in $ how confedent he is. he said well,.." I got my pay check today and a weeks worth of pay says i beat you." I took the bet. we drove about 5 miles into the country and did the danm thing. the race was set up for best out of three. I didint like that idea. I really didint want my car getting hot. but thats how everyone races around here. ANYWAY. he said something but i couldint hear him over the truck, he rolled up the windows and honked 3 times and took off. So I thought, OH ****. and,..he was gone. (turns out he said that we would go on 3 honks) so he said he won that race. i disagreed. but finaly gave it to him and insisted we had a flag person to start the race. he agreed.
Next Race: 3.2.1... go. he hammers it and to my amazement.. he is gone! i play catch up the whole way and won by about half a car,....HOLLY ****!
He says runns pretty good huh? I said i thought you said that was stock. He replys,"no, i said it could beat you stock". I said, lol, ok... i got ya... wait just a min. got out went to the back of the car and opened the pretty purple bottle. smiled and said ok. this is it. He asked "what did you just do. i said oh nothing" and got back in the car. pulled forward and ....... PISSSSSSSTTT. PURGED the nitro, it never looked so beautifl with the red l.e.d. a nice big cloud of fresh nitrous. MY HEART WAS POUNDING.
Last Race:3.2.1.......go I get a great start, but he is still in front of me by at least a car, i shift into second. and hold on. i feel the nirtous take effect and shazam im even. !quick percise shift to third and its all over from there.
My buddys say i won by close to 3 car lenghts. To bad this kid didint make more money. i got his 234.56 $ paycheck, with an autogragh. that was the best part of the whole race. Him signing the check. complaining that no one said anything about nitrous. I said well you didint say i couldint!
his buddy later told me that he just installed a chip and a new intake with a bigger intercooler. i said, well I learned a lesson, and some money,....

I dont know what the kid does for a living, but i know for a fact he didint pay for all of that stuff on his own. he is still in high school. I kinda felt bad taking his money, but if i didint,.... someone else would have. maybe its a good thing he only lost a cupple hundred. its a really nice truck and surprised the **** out of me, I just hope he doesnt tear the **** out of it.
