We don't NEED any new clutches.

The stock SS/SC clutch is just fine ...

ACT makes some nice clutches. And now with all these guys going turbo, they will need them.

Stock clutch is hit and miss. I ran drag radials and stock clutch slipped bad. best run on stock clutch was a 14.3(high elevation and shitty air here). Swapped to and Exedy and ran 13.9 with no other changes.

Jason,

Thank you for getting back in touch with us in regards to this vehicle. I just spoke to our R&D department and they notified me that we should have this kit available by early May. I will have pricing and its torque specifications available upon release of this set up. Please check back in with us at this time for pricing and availability. Thanks again for your support of ACT products.

Regards,

Mike E. Hallmark

I can't decide I have been waiting for a year for the ACT Street setup, but the Centerforce kit looks pretty sweet as well.

That is big news because the Exedy right now is the best. As for ACT, that I would say is a step above exedy. They did use the Exedy setup on the Time Attack Cobalt.

i called ACT yesterday and they said that they were in the final testing stages for the cobalt clutch. i asked them when it would be available and the guy said maybe by the end of june. but i think he meant july. cause he said about two months. then said june. but two months would be july. so i don't know. i am gonna call them back in the middle of june and see where they are at.
