i enjoy mine nice and smooth at first you may be dissapointed with 5th but you will get used to it. it looks very clean and the shifts are smooth except 5th which is kind of a tricky one.

Be sure and mark your right hand cable when you take the old shifter out, put the stock one in 4th, mark the position of the right hand cable where it's clipped. That will save you SOME headaches in installation. Some people have been able to do that and all gears work as normal, but for others you'll still need to adjust the LEFT hand cable if 5th/reverse aren't positioned exactly right. Great mod though, you'll love it.

I have it and it was a waste of money.I shoulda got the arm rest instead. You have to adjust the l cable and I had to grind down part of the reverse lock out to make it work nice.I think the knob is too big and the throw isn't much shorter.

I installed one last Sat., I had a B & M on my 06 Colbalt. I kind of like the Hurst a little better. Throws are not much shorter, but the feel is more solid.
