I'm having trouble getting my old axle out of the intermidiate shaft. I removed the snap ring and they still wont come apart. What do I need to do to get the old axle out of the intermidiate shaft? Any help would be great.

you dont need to take the snap ring out. just get a crowbar and pry that bitch out

 

alright well ill try that I just figured the snap ring had to come out. If I just pry it out it wont break anything will it.

 

what i like to do is get a prybar behind the cup and hammer on it. usualy a few swift blows will knock it apart.
