hatrickstu you are one smart fast dude so you should fix this....
ironically, the way to solve it is slicks. but then the tranny doesnt want to stay for long

indeed indeed. the DSS ones are identical

Hatrick you are kidding yourself the slicks mask it! the hop remains the cv joint cant handle the excessive operational angles outside its design intent. get a hero camera and video the axle joint.... and .so if you follow the data i am giving you just change one for assymetrical stiffness in the shaft configuration.

slicks absorb impact, dr's and street tires do not. i bet they would be safer

check out the axles on a hhr ss or a cobalt ss tc the axles are way beefier. I've broke both stocks and one stage 2 lol. but seriously before going to dss check out prices for hhr ss axles they should fit with no issues, and they look stronger than the stage 2's.

to fit turbo parts the shafts are way beefier, you gotta change the wheel bearing etc etc and i doubt the wheel speed signal is the same in fact if you have delphi abs - 05-06 it will not be compatible

i think to prevent all these axles from breaking. if wheel hop starts slip clutch or let go of the gas. Don't drop the hammer from a stop and making a turn. and don't do burnouts going forwards while rolling slowly backwards. oh and don't take a sledge hammer to a axle. that usually breaks them also.

You will also want to use a Turbo Tech Racing Upper Engine Mount. You will need to do both the Tranny and the engine mount do be the most effective.

You are correct in the aspect of wheel hop elimination. However, for maximizing the torque to the ground, that is the 2nd benifit of mounts. With that mod, your mounts still move, and that movement is taking torque, which means less torque to your wheels. Mounts are multi purpose and do many things.

No auto trannys use a different axle than the manual tranny does.

You will need one specific to you tranny/engine.
