So I'm attempting to rebuild an axle rather than paying for the CV, shaft and boots again. The u-joint seperated, everything else checks out.

Does anyone know if the SS/SC axles share an inner U-joint with the 2.2/2.4s?
The dealership and my parts vendors tried searching by application and came up dry.
"We can sell and install the axle for about $750. It'll be about two weeks to get it here."

If anyone knows another application with the same U-joint, a part number or somewhere to get the inner u-joint for a SS/SC axle I'd be extremely grateful as you'd be saving me $100+.

 

I dont know who offers inner tripods period.

Subscribed, Looking to get some new axles. Might have to give those guys a call and order both sides.
