Hey guys, I am helping a friend research some data for his upgrades on his 06 SS/SC. I wanted to find out if he was to run slicks on his car at the track, what would be the best option to upgrade his axles? Don't want them to snap while we are there doing our runs.

Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

 

axles,traction bars,motor mounts and u would be good for launchin...but fwd is very gay,so even with all those it can still pop axels

 

LOL, yeah, look at my sig, trust me I know all about FWD and wheel hop and horrible traction. LOL

I know that the late 04 and 05 SRT-4s had better axles and could withstand some punishment at the track with slicks for awhile before being upgraded but the 03 axles would snap pretty early due to a poor design.

I was wondering about the SS/SC? how is it for you guys. any specific brand that stands above the rest when upgraded axles are mentioned?

Awesome. I think that is axles that he was looking at getting. Just didn't know how good your stock axles were. I guess not that good, huh.
