b&m shifter

hey i just ordered a b&m short throw shifter for my cobalt. on the site it said its for a 05-06 cobalt ss. now i have the ss 2.4 and im hoping it will fit my car not to sure tho if anyone knows if it will or notplease let me kno thanks

haha idk i just wanted to kno if anyone knew about it. it just said ss so it should fit do they have different shifter hook ups ?

well i just ordered it today so when i get it ill post back and let u kno if it fits or not.

they're different tranny's, so it may be, i don't know, i guess you'll find out and let us all know? the SS/SC is based on a saab design, your's is chevy i believe.

don't think b&m makes a shifter that fits for the 2.4L, as it's the same transmission as the 2.2L.

yeah lots of differences in throw and fit i believe.

wats so different that the shifter wouldnt fit tho?

o and was the twm hard to put in ?

aww geez well ill see if it fits or not if it dont ill send it backi guess the only one that does fit is the twm. but u gotta do some mods which i really dont want to do

It doesn't fit.

The TWM is the only one other than cavi short throws that fit the 2.2 and 2.4

twm was fairly easy to put in, just use the instructions off twmperformance website as the pictures are better than the b/w pictures included in the box.
only mod required is cutting the plastic and that takes literally 30 seconds with the right tool.
